Pollution & Process Monitoring (PPM) Ltd is pleased to announce that Severn Trent Water has awarded PPM an instrument supply framework for the Proam ammonia monitor.
The Proam ammonia monitor will be installed within Severn Trent Water to provide continuous final effluent monitoring.
The award follows a comprehensive product evaluation, conducted over a five month period at Worcester WwTW. The Proam ammonia monitor was performance tested by taking regular spot samples for on-site and laboratory testing in addition to making direct comparison to a site comparative instrument regularly maintained. Direct comparison was also made against the six other test instruments.
The Proam required very little maintenance during the test period and the quality of the measurement data was excellent.
The instrument engineers who conducted the evaluation remarked on the ease of use and simple routine servicing recommended for routine maintenance.
