Reagents for Analytical Technology

The Protoc TOC wet chemistry analysers use reagent based “UV-persulphate” technology. It is therefore important to ensure that a good quality of reagent, calibration standard and acid cleaning solutions is procured, to optimise measurement performance. The strength of the reagents may need to be modified to suit instrument configuration, the required measuring range and application specific requirements.
Similarly, the Proam ammonia monitor is also a wet chemistry analysers using reagent-based ammonia ISE technology. The strength of the reagent, the calibration solutions and the choice of cleaning acid may also depend upon instrument configuration and application specific requirements.
Consequently, sourcing the reagents directly through PPM ensures that the reagent quality and specification is correctly matched, to the specific instrument requirements.

Scheduled Reagent Delivery

Additionally, PPM can organise monthly scheduled deliveries throughout the year to provide the best possible quality of analyser chemicals especially the calibration standards, that have a defined shelf life and are critical to instrument performance.
Calibration standards are available for wet chemistry analysers (TOC, Ammonia, Phosphate, Sulphate, Sulphide) and for measurement sensors such as Nitrate, Turbidity (Formazin), Conductivity, Colour (Hazen), ORP and pH (NIST traceable buffers) in different volumes to suit specific instrument requirements.
